Regardless of one’s acceptance (or lack thereof) of “morals” and “faith” and other such unpopular terms today, at least we should all agree that to speak as a leader of a particular religion, one should not pervert the historic teachings of that religion.

I hardly think that the Anglican Church endorses the teachings of Father Tim Jones. For that matter, I doubt that any Christian leader has ever uttered such nonsense before (though I may be wrong).

My advice, as a Christian priest, is to shoplift.

And to make sure the finer points of theology are brought into this advice, Father Jones continues:

I would ask that they do not steal from small family businesses, but from large national businesses, knowing that the costs are ultimately passed on to the rest of us in the form of higher prices.

Read the entire article and share with your kids so they can have a biblical foundation for stealing. That should play well with the grandparents.
